How About We Solve The Real Problems

I could really get used to writing politically inspired blogs and they do seem to get a lot more attention, on polarized social media at least. These somewhat controversial pieces have gotten a lot more views and sure a few rude comments, but then when you challenge people’s firmly held opinions some push back is to be expected.

If find it somewhat ironic that often people without a plan or policy to deal with real issues and problems would rather invent made up or at least blown way out of proportion issues and problems to distract attention away from the real pressing issues at hand. For instance, in my mind the whole reason that President Trump bought into Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu’s “bright idea” to again bomb Iran and start a “forever war” in the Middle East, something that he promised that he would never do, was to distract from the release of the Epstein Files. It so reminds me of a favorite quote from long time CBS journalist Eric Sevareid, “Most of our problems are caused by our solutions.”

The instances of proven voter fraud are so minuscule that they have had no influence on even the closest elections, which has been proven in courts across the land, where misrepresentation of the truth under oath can get you prison time, time and again. Children getting sex changes at school is another distraction from the real problem of allowing our public school system to be destroyed by stripping away its funding and support.

It is time we dealt with real issues and problems instead of distracting from the real issues with false and outlandish claims – “They’re eating the dogs.” Hot dogs perhaps, Mister President. You don’t even have a dog. Presidents always had a pet before you. Even Hitler loved dogs, but then you are a new breed.
