It’s About Time

I have been blogging since the Ides of March of 2015 and my original goal was to attract 10,000 followers to help me convince a publisher to print 10,000 copies of a little book that I wrote about my dearly departed daughter called “Emily, The Little Girl Who Sang Her Song To Anyone Who Came Along.” After a year at daily blogging, I realized that I would be a long time, if ever, in achieving that kind of following so I published the book on my blog, one chapter or episode at a time till I had all thirty-two out there for anyone to read for free. I did this two summers in a row, 2015 and 2016. Having published the little book myself I modified my initial goal of the blog to writing 10,000 daily blogs instead of obtaining 10,000 followers.

Today I received a little notice on social media where I also post my blog that one particular political blog had 10,000 views. That is still a far cry from having 10,000 people reading my blog every day, but hey, I’ve got time and if I have enough time left to complete a little over 6,000 more daily blogs I will reach my 10,000 blogs goal and maybe even one day yet achieve 10,000 daily readers.

It could happen.

As I was about to post this  I received a notice on my social media account that another political blog has already received 25,000 views. Seems stirring the political pot gets a lot more attention, mostly positive, but not all.
