White Supremacy Is A Lie

The Southern Strategy is a term that was coined to explain the plan Republican came up with to win southern voters in the American South and insure enough Electoral College votes to win Presidential elections. Today Republicans proudly proclaimed themselves the party of Lincoln, the first Republican President, but Lincoln was hated by the South and still is in many parts because he reluctantly came to the conclusion that the only way to save the Union was to end slavery.

White men have long believed themselves superior to women and people of color, especially rich white men. Donald Trump’s first run in with the law had to do with discrimination against people of color in renting apartments that he and his family owned in New York City. And he has only ever pretended to care about pretty blonde women so long as they adore him, fawn over him, and are willing to sign an NDA.

As Donald Trump is the face of the Republican Party, Elon Musk is the face of greed and white man privilege. He is supposedly the world’s first trillionaire. As a line from a David Allen Coe song says, I wonder if it was worth all he had to do to get it. If achieving our goals does not make us bigger, better, more compassionate people we have sold out, plain and simple.

Once upon a time the Republican Party had a people person for President. He said, “You can fool all of the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.”

Make no mistake Republicans, DJT has had your number since 1998. How long are you going to keep believing his lies?
