If It Sounds To Good To Be True

Social Media is not free nor are any of the streaming apps. Commercial free costs extra. The price of admission is advertising and so unless we are willing to pay the extra price we are bombarded with lots of false promises and false claims. I have learned to ask the all important question online before buying any product, no matter how good it sounds: “Is such and such a scam?”

Today’s picture quote says it succinctly. “If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.” Another of my dad’s favorites was: “Son, you don’t have to make all of the mistakes, you can learn from some of mine if you just would.” Let this be a teachable moment. Before you get burned, take the time to avail yourself of the experience of others.
