Dreams Do Come True

There is a verse or at least part of a verse in the New Testament that I still believe though I have discarded many beliefs that I once held that no longer serve me. The part of a verse that I am referring to says, “All things work together for good.” It ties in quite well with the seed thought around which I have built my ever evolving daily affirmation: “I am so glad and grateful that everything that I could ever want or need is already mine and coming to me at just the right time and in just the right way from my loving and infinite source.”

I do believe in a higher power. For me that higher power is my highest and best self. That is my loving and infinite source that always works things out for my good, the good of the Universe, and the good of everyone, everywhere. The way I reconcile all the seeming inequities and injustices is I think we get to live countless lives in which we get to resolve all the seeming unfinished details of a particular adventure in time and space.

I have more than a few times compared my take on life to the little children’s round that says “Life is but a dream.” Life is also like the holodeck simulations in the Star Trek Next Generation TV series. The Time Space matrix is a place where we, he, she get to act out all of our dreams.
