A Joy Forever

(First let me apologize for not posting a blog yesterday, my first miss in eleven and a half years.)

The full quote of the famous line about a thing of beauty being a Joy forever is in today’s beautiful picture quote. This weekend in a restaurant in a small Texas town, friends and family will gather to celebrate the birthday of Joy Anderson who typifies this quote. I hope to make the drive from Houston and celebrate with them.

By way of a tribute to Joy, who is my niece Michelle’s mother-in-law, I first would like to say that she has always made me feel like an important and loved member of her family. I have been fortunate to have gotten to spend time with her at family gatherings over the years and always try to sit close to her because conversation with her is the highlight of any celebration.

Thank you, Joy, for living up to your name. You are indeed a true joy and a beauty forever.
