The old adage goes something like, “Figures don’t lie, but liars figure.” Unarguably our current President has told more lies than anyone who ever held the office before him. It is common knowledge that 86 is a number that is used commonly in diners and restaurants to modify orders to the kitchen as in “86 the onions on that burger”meaning leave them off or remove them.
Trump had his Department of Justice bring a law suite against his own former Director of the FBI, James Comey, because he posted a picture on social media taken on a beach stroll of a sea shell arrangement “8647” claiming it was a violent death threat against the President of the United States. Only a mob guy like our President could assume that 86 means to kill someone. A federal judge has already ruled that the clear meaning of the term “8647” means impeach and remove our 47th President, Donald John Trump.
In addition to telling the most lies while in office, our 45th and 47th President has set quite a number of other records. He was impeached twice in his first term in office, is the only convicted felon ever elected President and the only President who ever to foment an insurrection to stop a federal proceeding at the Capital Building. Only being elected for a second term saved him from going to jail on that charge. He used his mug shot in Georgia to raise money for his 2024 Presidential Campaign. In that campaign he promised to get even with all who had opposed him, lower costs, and never lead us into another forever war in the Middle East. He seems most intent on keeping the first promise while breaking the other two.
I believe as does James Carville, long time political consultant and author, that before next Easter and after an astounding repudiation in the November midterms elections this November, that Donald Trump will 86 himself as Richard Nixon did when he knew he was about to be impeached and removed from office.
The three rules of winning the Trump lives by which were taught to him by his long time mentor Roy Cohn are:
- Attack, Attack, Attack
- Admit Nothing, Deny Everything
- Claim Victory, Never Admit Defeat
The dire situation will force him to admit finally that he has lost and admit defeat. He has yet to admit publicly that he lost a free and fair election in 2020 and has spent the last six years trying to rewrite history and sewing doubts as to the integrity of our elections without presenting any credible evidence of election fraud that rose to any level to change the result. Point in fact there are more documented cases of Republicans committing voter fraud than there are of undocumented aliens voting.
Numbers count and numbers are what many of the lies our President tells over and over are about from crowd sizes to the percentage of savings he promises the people, to how little things like the ball room, the mall reflecting pool renovation, his big birthday party, or the Iran war are going to cost U.S. tax payers.
I recently shared a hot mic slip of House Speaker Mike Johnson revealing Republicans plans to fix and adjust entitlement programs next year after the midterm elections. The President himself had a unguarded moment even earlier this year while he was addressing a group of Republicans, privately he thought, where he said, “We can’t afford child care, health care, are all these things.” But we can afford a trillion dollar war, a big ball room, a birthday party for himself, a big triumphal arch on the bridge entering the Arlington National Cemetery to honor Trump, who though he played sports in school had a doctor lie about his feet so he could avoid service during the Vietnam War. I don’t think so and more and more American are coming to same conclusion that 86ing 47 is an idea that we all get behind.
When the November votes are counted I believe the turn out will be so big and the margins so vast that no one, not even Donald Trump, denier and liar extraordinaire, will be able to convince anyone outside his MAGA cult that his days in office are truly numbered. And again that number is 8647.
