A Man of So Many Contradictions

I find it incredible (unbelievable) that so many otherwise intelligent people trust this man who has told more provable lies than any U.S. President in our 250 year history. Even Honest Able and George Washington who according to legend as a boy said, “I cannot tell a lie” probably bent the truth more than once while President, for we all lie unintentionally and knowingly.

One of my favorite verses in the purported writings of the Apostle Paul says, “You, oh man, who judges another are guilty of the same sin.” We recognize the faults of others so readily because they are our own. I have long said that anytime I hear someone loudly protest, “I can endure anything, but a liar!” that I make a mental note to watch out for that person because they have a serious problem telling the truth, all their protesting to the contrary, only confirms their besetting sin. We all have blind spots and we tend to project our worst behaviors upon others not seeing them clearly as our own problem causes us to tend to judge and condemn them more harshly.

Adolph Hitler in his book Mein Kampf wrote regarding propaganda that the bigger lie one tells the more people will believe it. The longer and louder we tell our biggest lies the more likely we are to begin to believe them ourselves.

There is no viable evidence that Donald Trump won the 2020 Presidential election. There are however lots of video evidence and testimony of reliable witnesses that he fomented an insurrection to prevent the peaceful transition of power. He is still trying to rewrite history and make himself the hero of that story. He pardoned those who took over the Capitol Building unlawfully and tried to stop the official tally of the state certified Electoral College votes and tried to replaced them with a bogus slate of electors. Capital policemen died protecting our legislators, who immediately condemned those treasonous acts, but later voted along political lines refusing to vote to impeach President Trump for instigating this insurrection. Their failure to convict him of this crime lead to his return to power four years later and his using Presidential Pardons, Executive orders, and DOJ failures indictments to try to rewrite that chapter in U.S. History.

Around thirty percent of the electorate still believes his lies or are at least unwilling to admit at this point that they have be duped. The old adage, “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me” comes to mind.

My question to all of you “true believers” is how many more people are going to have to die in another foolish war that was only started by him to distract from the Trump-Epstein file release that will if allowed to be fully released finally settled for once and for all who the man is that we have twice elected to the highest office in the land, before you see through all the contradictions?

Shame on us for being so gullible and so easily distracted from the truth. Not only does the Emperor have no clothes, but he continues to deceive and would have us doubt our own eyes.

The price tag is steadily growing for our failure to call him on his lies and corruption. Someday history may record that the real heroes in this story are those who stood up against the man who made himself and his family far richer at the expense of his own country and the entire world.
