Like Riding A Bike
Albert Einstein was a genius but he could also ride a bike and from clips I have seen of him riding he did it well and really enjoyed it. I especially liked the inspiring quote I received yesterday and knew immediately I would share it.
Just like the secret of flying a kite is catching the wind just right so the secret of maintaining your balance either on a bike or off is to keep moving forward. My wife said that she read that walking backwards helps you keep your balance. Maybe so but it seems to me that since our eyes are in the front and that we do no come with back-up cameras installed from the factory perhaps going forward is the safer more practical way to maintain our balance.
Sometimes we find ourself stalled or in a spin not knowing what to do or where to go next. May I suggest that taking a few steps forward is always the best course unless perhaps you are standing on the edge of a cliff. By all means use your eyes and your best sense to plot your path forward. Onward and upward. As the great captain of old said, “All I need is a ship and a star to steer her by” or as brother Einstein would say a bike. No ship nor bike, just keep on moving, it is the best way to stay in balance.
