A Great Cloud Of Witness

I got a late start on my daily blog this morning because I was notified last night that the work foreman on the construction crew that I am helping to inspect in Nebraska called a rain day today because of threatening all day long rain storms in Wayne. At any rate what better day to sleep in than a cool rainy one like this one.

But, I am up an at it now and was inspired by my Note from the Universe (Attached) this morning to remind each one that when we feel we have failed or are feeling the most alone that we need to remember: They only fail who quit and we are never ever alone, but have ever a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on to victory. It was Paul, not my amazing Australian poet friend Paul V. Cannon, but another prolific writer who penned, “Seeing as we are encompassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses let us run with patience (endurance) the race that is set before us.”

When I read the Universe’s request for permission to invite a few billion into the sky box to share my writing stories, songs, and poems that will touch, I said. “Sure” with a big smile on my face. Some of you may think my friend Mike Dooley, who writes Notes From The Universe, was a little over the top with this one, but the One he is taking dictation from does not, nor do I. I am pretty sure both Paul’s would agree too.

The hits keep coming. Keep swinging and you cannot help but win in the end with the crowd roaring your name from the stands, especially that sky box.
