Every Day’s A New Day
Signing off my daily morning love letter to my lovely and loving wife Linda I remembered a line from a love song from the last year that she and I were both teenagers, 1969, and told her that I love her more than before but not as much as tomorrow. I took a little poetic license with the quote as you can tell from the complete and correct lyrics that follow:

The above song was the biggest hit of the American pop band named after the 1946 movie The Spiral Staircase with a deliberate misspelling. “More today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow” is the signature line in the song and it’s title. The song could have been as easily titled, “Everyday day’s a new day.” Indeed each one is and it is up to us to find in each one that special someone or something that we can be happy about.
Happy hunting and happy Friday, everyone.
