Mr. Brown Washes His Underwear
Chapter three of There’s A Carrot In My Ear and Other Noodle Tales has Mr. Brown washing his underwear. Now there is a subject most bloggers would pass on but not ole Crazy Dave for whom few if any subjects are secret or off-limits.
Here goes, airing one’s laundry or washing one’s underwear in public though perhaps not accepted etiquette is still a familiar sight not only at every laundromat but at many political gatherings as well. Invariably those split-assed politicians don’t seem to realizing their dirty tales on their opponents reflect the same on themselves, mud slinging indeed. I heard a preacher once say, “Remember when you point a finger at another that three fingers are pointing back at you.” This is one of the many reasons that I especially try to follow the first of the Ten Intentions for a Better World trying to remember I have no real opponents or enemies only family and friends even if some pretend to be estranged for this moment in time.

I had cause to remember just yesterday morning in a heated discussion with my beloved wife about of all things how electricity works (All arguments are really silly aren’t they?) that it is never really our place to tell anyone else how to think or live but to live our own lives and control our own thoughts and actions allowing others to have their own experiences.
Is not that the plot and premise of many good books and movies, the loving but misguided parent, grandparent, sibling, or friend that refuses to let their loved one think or choose for themselves the direction of their own life. To borrow the title of a popular soap opera we have but One Life to Live, our own, and the managing and guiding of that story if done well should keep us busy for this one lifetime and perhaps several others. Enjoy your own Noodle Tales and let all those you love do as well. Oops, that not telling others what to think is a hard habit to break, but I am working on it. Think for yourself. I certainly do and I think I love you all, my friends.
Your friend and fellow traveler,
David White
