Happy Birthday Boys, Jacob & Greg

To two wonderful guys, my nephew Greg, and his sister Michelle’s husband Jacob, yesterday with the group pictured I got to say a hardy Happy Birthday to both and enjoy the company of all. I am today reading Chapter 13 in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in my daily email to a few friends that I call “David Reads Children’s Books.”

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, Chapter 13

If you or a child in your life would like to hear more send your email address to dwhite6359@gmail.com and I will add your name to the list quickly and will take it off just as quickly if you decide you no longer want to receive it.

But, back to the birthday boys. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz really is wonderful but so are we all and deserving of honor and not just on our birthdays but every day. Still, I think it is good that everyone has a special day for us to celebrate that they were born into this world at a time when we could get to enjoy their own wonderfulness while sharing our own with them.

People who do not let others honor them on their birthday often believe deep down but erroneously that they are not worthy of worship and praise. But that is only because they have somehow forgotten Who and Whose they truly are. I like the expression, “Namaste” especially one definition: “I bow to the Divinity in you.”

Jacob

To Greg and Jacob, two handsome gods, I say again Happy Birthday and Namaste. May our little celebration yesterday remind you both how fortunate we all feel that you two were born into the kingdom for such a time as this and that we get to share time and space with you, here on this also beautiful side of the rainbow.

Your friend and fellow traveler,

Maybe myself a flying monkey’s Uncle at times, but an uncle to divine boys & girls too,

David White
