No Expiration Date On This Ticker

Mistyping yesterday’s blog title inspired the title and thought for this one, there being no great mystery from where the ideas for my blogs come. They come from everywhere, everyone, and everything. Even writing a new one daily, if I get to complete my second set of teens, I do not expect to exhaust my loving and infinite source. To me, gratitude is The Secret to living a full, healthy, and happy life as Rhonda Byrne, Mike Dooley and many others agree. To remind myself, I often say aloud one of my favorite mantras:

“I am so glad and grateful that everything that I could ever want or need is already mine and coming to me at just the right time and in just the right way from my loving and infinite source.”

This mantra may not do it for you, but, my friend, it is equally true for you, that secret that we all carry in our own minds and hearts. This secret that is far more precious than the fictional blue diamond necklace in the movie Titanic called The Heart of the Ocean. The elderly lady in the movie, after recounting the story of how she came to have it, drops it into the sea over the sunken Titanic where it was believed to have been resting all those years.

Celine Dion’s hauntingly beautiful song from the movie is not about the treasured Heart of the Ocean diamond but the true treasure that I believe goes on and on not just through this life, however long or short, but through countless lives before and after this one. If you choose a different door than Nick did to exit this time remember two things from Monty Hall’s ole game show, Let’s Make A Deal, there are always several more doors to choose from and as he said at the end of each show there are always “Bigger deals ahead.” Cross my and Monty’s heart.
