Awakening To Bird Songs
“My heart and my mind are open, my arms and my hands are open, my mouth, noses, ears, and eyes are open to all the Universe has for me, for all the Universe to flow in and through me.” This morning my ears are open to bird songs as they and I joyously greet the new day. “This is the day that the Lord and I have made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Life they say is a mixed bag or as someone has Jesus saying, “Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Following that logic, each day also has its share of good things to enjoy. I choose to focus on those for I believe what we focus on is what we see more of and find coming to us more often than not. I would be a real Pollyanna to think there are no mysteries, no problems, and no troubles that come to us. Indeed there are, but often the greatest gifts come disguised in this manner. Look for the good in all things and you will learn to find it no matter what.
