Merry Christmas

The long awaited day has finally arrived and children everywhere are tearing open their Christmas loot. Would that were true but the sad fact is than many children get no special gifts this day nor any day. The true heroes are those who do whatever they can to make better the lives of children.

Even Scrooge revealed that his visitation by the the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future had indeed made a new man of him as he spoke to the boy out his window to go to the butcher and buy the big goose and have it delivered to the Cratchit home. When we begin to see the wonderful potential in every child we are come to our right minds.

The Christmas Story is about a baby being God’s greatest gift to the world. Every baby deserves to be loved, worshipped, and given gifts like that baby was. And as Tiny Tim says so well, “God Bless us, everyone.”
