Unlimited Imaginations
In the wonderful song from Disney’s The Lion King, Circle of Life, is the line, “There’s far too much to take in here, more to do than can ever be done.” We are only limited by our own imaginations and the limited imaginations of others if we allow ourselves to believe in them.
Faith that keeps us in tiny boxes, separated from our dreams and one another is not faith, but a deceptive delusion. We, as children of the Universe, are meant to explore the boundaries, or in the words of the wonderful poem, High Flight, “To tread the high untrespassed sanctity of space, put out our hands and touch the face of God.”
The nay sayers have always tried to make us believe “ashes to ashes, dust to dust” but the spirit within us was made to soar above this earth, to explore the wild blue yonder, and to dwell among the stars.
On this day of thanks I am grateful for every intrepid soul who dares to push the limits of their own imagination and does not allow the limited vision of others to hold them back. These are our true heroes.
Your friend and fellow traveler,
David White
