This One’s For You

Fear of rejection deflates, demotivates and would have us hide what we have to offer. So what if a few or even many do not appreciate what we have to give. It is not for them we shine, but shine we must, it is the nature of Who and Whose we are.

Lovely Esther was asked to consider if she was not born into the kingdom during a very dark time to shine for her people. At just the right time and in just the right way light always comes to show us the way. Children of light we are and we have only one responsibility and that is to brighten the corner where we are.

Forget the critics and the nay sayers. The stage is set the audience that your performance was meant for is waiting. It is your turn to inspire, to entertain, and to encourage. That has been the goal of this blog for seven and a half years and will be for as many days as I have left. I try to reach deep into my treasure store to share the very best that I have to offer.

To quote one of Sir Elton John’s early songs: “I know it’s not much, but it’s the best I can do. My gift is my song. This one’s for you.”
