On Being Spiritual or Holy

It amazes me how spot on these notes are. Yesterday’s was particularly so. I was one of those who misunderstood, most of my life, what spiritual or holy meant. Guilt religions would have us believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God when the truth is that we are God and we are God’s. That is Who and Whose we are, the holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty made manifest in all the Colors of the Wind.
Ever wonder that those who profess not to be spiritual persons are usually the most spiritual of all. Spirit, breath, and life are synonymous terms and interchangeable. Pocahontas in her song, Colors of the Wind, proclaims that the invaders from the Old World thought that the earth was just a dead thing they could claim, but that she knew every rock, and tree, and creature has a life, has a spirit, has a name.
Those who think only out of half their big brain cannot see the big picture. The rational or conscious world is just the tip of the iceberg. Madonna sang of being a material girl in a material world but, she and all in this Universe are spiritual, holy and important parts of a very spiritual world.
We are the Colors of the Wind, the Children of the Universe. That’s the Spirit!
