The Lion and the Mouse

This briefer version of a familiar tale is no less educational nor entertaining and isn’t that at least two of the things that the best blogs and stories always are? Add encouraging and in my mind at least you have a lasting masterpiece. That is what artists and their audiences always are looking for.

Yesterday, I heard and saw a young man in a classroom assignment give a talk about an artist that we both knew and loved. It struck me that though neither of us were there when that artist capped her career that both our lives and those of many others were touched by her art.

The artist known as Emily Elaine White touched many lives in her brief career and here is the testimony of one Travis Angerman, her cousin, about how Em made him one of her many masterpieces.

Thank you, Miss Em, though you are still missed we would not have missed getting to hear your concert for all the world. We still remain, and always will, your adoring fans.

Your friend and fellow traveler,

David White
