Take A Walk With Me
One of my favorite actors, Keanu Reeves, has made at least two movies involving great walks, A Walk In The Clouds, and The Lake House. He had already at the time of the first of them come a long way in his acting ability from his youthful performance in Bill And Ted’s Excellent Adventure, though that is still a fun walk in the park movie for me. But the wonderful walk through the great Chicago architecture with the lovely Sandra Bullock in The Lake House though his and her characters are divided not just by space but also time is quite memorable.
I have experienced in this life time many memorable walks both seemingly alone and with a loved one or friends. I wrote “seemingly alone” on purpose because I believe like the touching song, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” that we are none of us ever really all alone. Here are the lyrics and my Mockingbird Version to peruse along your walk.
You’ll Never Walk Alone
When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don’t be afraid of the dark
At the end of a storm
There’s a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you’ll never walk alone
You’ll never walk alone
Songwriters: Oscar Hammerstein II / Richard Rodgers

You’ll Never Walk Alone
I try to take a nice walk everyday, to clear my head, open up my heart, and give my body a little exercise. Take a walk with me.
Your friend and fellow traveler,
