I Saw You Cry
I just read a great article in the December 2017 Reader’s Digest by Sandra Newman from AEON.CO called, “Why Don’t Men Cry?” Being a man and a long time crier the simple answer is, and men are simple, “Just stupid I guess.”
“Cry” a very beautiful song sung by a young and beautiful Mandy Moore in the movie based on the Nicolas Sparks book, A Walk To Remember, says in so many words, “I loved you from the first moment I saw you cry.”
Guys and girls, our heart is never so open as when tears are flowing down our cheeks. Perhaps that is the real reason men do not want to be seen crying – the fear that if you saw the real person in us you would reject us. We don’t want to take that chance. We men are so silly, as if every woman who every lived did not not see right through our overly sensitive egos. I mean it is after all “the feminine mystic” guys are as easy to read as puppies, always have been always will be. Women on the other hand, and how we like to get our hands on them, huh Donald, are kittens and far beyond the limited male mindset to comprehend. Makes a guy want to just cry, exactly.
