The lie that we are separated and alone is one of little ego’s most exceptional devices for keeping us miserable and unhappy. Don’t you believe it. You have never been alone or on your own. You are connected to all there is, you are loved, and you are One with the Universe, and all your brothers and sisters. Live in that knowledge and see if your life can ever seem lonely, boring, or tasteless ever again. Enjoy the adventure with the sure and certain knowledge that you are not alone, on your own, or disconnected.

WE ARE CONNECTED

 

We are connected

Made of the same stuff

The only thing that’s real

The only matter that matters is Love.

 

If I seem to talk in circles

We live in circles too

Love always doubles back on itself

There’s no escaping it me or you.

 

We are connected

Though deny it we try

Love when we least expect it

Will reveal all else to be a lie.

 

In Love we move and have our being

For there is nothing else

Have not all the great teachers taught us

Love God and your neighbor as yourself.

 

Two laws that precede

And supercede all others,

Laws we can only pretend to break

For we are loved and we are lovers.
