Blog 234 – 0.19.2016

There is an expression for our sexual urge called “the urge to merge.” I believe sex is not just for making babies but primarily to remind us that we are One with one another and the Universe. When you grow up in a dualistic culture where everything is Good or Bad , Right or Wrong, Black or White the truth gets hidden in all the erroneous information. Lest we forget Who and Whose we truly are the Universe has placed clues along our path and as my poem says it is written into our very DNA. I once remarked that I believe it is written on every leaf, every blade of grass the great and simple truth that we are One with all there is and that God, the Universe is all there is.

Lest we forget or mistake

The clues to our own identity.

Someday we’ll full awake

Knowing Who and Whose

We  are –

The Author of all our eyes behold

Every microbe, every star.

The Creator who

For the fun of it

Pretending for a while

To not be one with it.

Clouding the memory

To experience the wonder anew

Of awakening again to the rapture

Of making One of Two.
