Absurdities Lead To Atrocities

Donald Trump wants everything to be about him, up to and including the mid-term elections in just shy of three weeks. I hope this election will indeed be all about him and that the resounding result will be the American people saying in overwhelming numbers that we are sick and tired of his absurdities and the resulting atrocities.

Long time political consultant and author James Carville has predicted that after a blue wave gives Democrats control of both houses of Congress and  Trump’s great con is totally revealed that he will unceremoniously step down from the Presidency and retreat to Mar-a-Lago to lick his wounds and try to soothe his devastated ego. I hope James is right.

Voltaire in today’s picture quote warned us what happens when we allow people to convince us of absurdities. History has proved this theory over and over again.
