Origins

Myths regarding our origins on this big blue ball whirling through time and space are at the core of most religious traditions. Today’s picture is poking fun at how little evidence there is to support any of the widely held beliefs about where we came from or how we got here.

Even our most sacred ancient texts often contradict themselves on the origin of humans on this planet. Perhaps it is not so important how we got here as it is that we make the most of our time here and leave the place as we found it, if not better, for our posterity. 

As a child of the nineteen-fifties I grew up with sci-fi movies about aliens and space travel. Honesty from my perspective if one does not except the scientific theory that we just evolved over millennia from lower life forms, the alien transplant theory is just as feasible as being planted in a garden fully formed by a superior being.

The evidence is spotty at best.
