Famous Last Words

I am still one hundred and thirty one blogs short of half way to my goal of ten thousand blogs. Whether I will live long enough to achieve that goal remains to be seen, still if not today one day I will compose my final blog signing off with my final words.

I would like to think about that for a moment. Every writer hopes to be read and remembered and to have his or her words quoted. I have in the last eleven years written a lot of words and throughout most of this seventy-five year adventure in time and space. 

One of my favorite fictional characters is Forest Gump was invented by writer Winston Groom and made popular by Tom Hanks in the movie. Forest ended many of his shared recollections with these final words, “That’s all I have to say about that!”

I hope my final words will be coherent and clear and that my last words will be an encouraging challenge.
