There Are Faces I Remember
Yesterday, I got to thinking of some faces that I have not seen in over fifty years and wondering how some people that I met and knew quite well in college a half century ago might be faring today. I found a Facebook listing for Gulf-Coast Bible College/Mid-America Bible College/MACU (Mid-America Christian University)and joined it commented that I was hoping to reconnect with classmates that I had met while attending the college from January 1973 through December of 1975. I had two comments right away, one telling me that one classmate that I mentioned by name had died a couple of years back and another telling me that a church puppet lady that I had known while attending the church that founded the Bible College in Houston, Texas had a new last name and was living now in Oklahoma not far from where the college moved in the nineteen eighties.
One of the classmates that I mentioned that I especially hoped to reconnect with sent me a message on Facebook Messenger yesterday and we hope to catch each other up on that last fifty years of our lives today. I would sure love to see that face again.
