Persistence
For a wordy and long-winded guy like myself the challenge is always to be concise and to the point. The encouraging word for today persistence. It is the main ingredient in getting what we want out of life.
I believe the Universal default setting is to grant every intention, desire and prayer, but the catch is, if there really is one, is that we must decide and show what we really want to the Universe in no uncertain terms. The way we do is that is by being patiently persistence and taking whatever steps we can to make our own dreams come true, trusting the Universe to make up the difference. Therefore we should intend, desire, and pray for the highest and best, and do what we can, as little as that may be, being doggedly persistent and trusting our loving, infinite, and omnipotent source to bring it to pass.
The New Testament book called James that the Protestant reformer Martin Luther called “a book of straw” states that faith must be accompanied by works to be genuine. Luther was strong on the book of Romans that says salvation and every good thing comes to us by grace through faith alone.
I agree with James, our actions (works) make God, the Universe, aware of what we want, what we believe, and where we want to be. May the words of our mouth, the meditations of our heart, the steps we take, and the works of our hands all be acceptable in our sight. May we be ever patient, and persistent, but above may we be kind.
