Hey Good Looking, You’re Beautiful

Today is two-fer Thursday and a rare February 29th so I am sharing two “beautiful songs from two time periods and two musical genres. The first song is a country standard by Hank Williams Senior circa 1950 and the second from a contemporary British singer James Blunt one of his first hits recorded in 2004.

I’d like to dedicate these two song to a long time friend who died in 2019, Eva Gay Ferrell Pusley. She was by some people’s count seventy-five at the time of her death, but since she was born on the 29th of February 1944 Eva Gay had only celebrated sixteen actual birthdays.

So these two songs are for you Eva Gay, forever Sweet Sixteen.
