Reporters and writers like Kit hope to leave their mark upon this earth. Each of us does in one way or another. Often even those who spend the better part of their lives amassing wealth and power with little thought of others or the earth in the end begin to consider the legacy that they are leaving their children and their children’s children.

As you and l consider leaving our mark upon the earth may we be ever mindful of leaving it a better place than what we found. More than money or power this is the legacy we should aspire to leave behind.
