Sometimes we only need a little distraction to get us to appreciate that our current situation is not so bad as it might seem. The wise man in today’s story helps a man and his family to see
just that. There are some who would say a big family in a little house is far more desirable than a large house with little family. I remember a John Denver song that was popular when I was a young man called Grandma’s feather bed. I attach it to illustrate my point.
