Today’s One-Minute Bed-Time Story reminds me of the story of the kind widow who used her last bit of meal and oil to fix a meal for the prophet and was rewarded by two miracles, an oil and a meal container that never after ran empty.
Whether you believe these two stories to be absolutely true or merely myths to teach an important lesson about giving, generosity is a trait that we admire in others especially when we are in need.
We have all at one time or another in our lives been beneficiaries of the kindness of strangers, angels unaware.
