Someday, But Not Today

Someday, I will perhaps run out of things to say or to write about, but not today. I have my daddy’s gift for gab, love of language, and a well-turned phrase. There is a line in one of my all time favorite show tunes, All I Ask Of You from The Phantom of the Opera: “My words will warm and calm you.”

Some may and indeed have used words to incite people to insurrection and hostility, but a far better use for words is that they be used to entertain, enlighten, and encourage. It is my intention to make and keep theencouragingword.co a place where anyone who drops by can always find an encouraging, warm, and calming word.

Someday, as I mentioned in the beginning of this short piece, I may run out of things to say or to write, but not today. I have already made over two thousand attempts at that polished, well-spoken, well-written word and I am not done trying to reach that unreachable star.
