We Made, Write, And Are The Stars
“What if we rewrite the stars
Say you were made to be mine?
Nothing could keep us apart
You’d be the one
I was meant to find
It’s up to you
And it’s up to me
No one can say what we get to be
So why don’t we rewrite the stars?
Maybe the world could be our
Tonight.”

Our problem is never ever thinking too big but thinking too small. What most of us hear ourselves and not just others saying when things do not seem to be going as we planned is, “What did you think, that you could have it all?” And sadder than even the question is that we all too often answer, “I guess not.” Well, guess again for the obvious and only answer is, “Well, and of course, why not for I am all that.”
In case you miss my perhaps too subtle point – the reason you can and should have it all is because you are it all, Child of the Universe.
I love the Rewrite The Stars song from the movie, The Greatest Showman, and though not myself an actual member of “The Mile High Club” I have, I proudly confess, made love that felt like flying and falling as the couple do in the movie and the song. Do see the movie and you will never be able to unsee the tender and passionate love that they make together soaring, flying, and falling in that scene in the empty circus arena.
Of all the beautiful lines in the song one of my favorites is the truth that, “No one can say what we get to be.” We get to choose. Oh, you can be a doctor, the way your parents always hoped that you would be, but not because they or anyone else want that for you but because that is what you choose. And we get to love whomever we will for no one else gets to tell us whom we get to love. We can love everyone or pour most of it upon one or a chosen few.
No one else can make you do or believe anything that you choose not too. And by the way, the Stars are, well, rewritten everyday. We with a little help from Our Higher Self made them and remake them, ourselves, daily. Sometimes the changes are subtle and sometimes dramatic. And yeah, we are all drama queens at time. Take a bow, Starshine, keep glowing and growing as you rewrite the stars.
Your friend and fellow traveler,
In certain circles quite a Star myself,
