If I Fail To Achieve It All This Time

There is at least a chance that I will not completely realize my goal of becoming a widely acknowledged writer, speaker, singer, songwriter, and teacher in this life. It took me a while after all to focus even on those limited goals. And, yeah, I was taught as most of us to limit the subject to make it easier to cover but the above goal after much thought was about as narrow as I could take my aim. I mean, at that I had to leave off the list a lot of the really cool ones, like Super Hero, Starship Captain, and one of the last ones not to make the cut – Rock Star. I mean really, who in our age wouldn’t want to be a Rock Star? Why, they even made a play and movie some years back casting an already quite famous Jew Boy as, “Jesus Christ, Super Star.” And well if it is good enough for Jesus why wouldn’t anybody and everybody want to be a Super Star?

But I suppose it is good to narrow one’s focus down to a few achievable goals. Even if I I have another forty-eight and a half years, as I hope too, that might be cutting it a bit short considering that the last fifteen years or so after one hundred I might have to cut back my book signing tours, speaking engagements, and concerts a little. Quit your laughing, it could happen. I aim to do some mischief. I aim to make a mark. I aim to lift a few minds and hearts with some encouraging words, written, spoken, sung, and taught.

I still have, I hope, a few years to get your attention and so I am ever honing my craft to  become more skilled at using words to touch, to inspire, to entertain, and to encourage. And everytime I succeed with even one reader or listener that puts me one step closer to achieving my goal of, yes, you guessed it, World Domination. But in a good way, the best way, through peace, love and understanding that we are all brothers and sisters in a Universal family with each our own goals and dreams. And my wish for all my family, all my friends, and all my fans is that your sweetest and best dreams always come true.
