Blog 221 – 02-02-2016

One of the wonderful thing about poems is that they very often express some important point in a very few words. It is a very good feeling as a writer to think you have said something well, something that will resonate, strike the right chord, in other hearts and minds. I offer the following short poem written several years back as my Encouraging Word for today.

A Road Sign Pointing Home

Follow your heart

It will surely lead you home.

They are not truly lost

Who simply seem to roam.

 

Follow your desires

You are guided as you roam.

Only you can decide what you really want.

Your desire is a road sign pointing home.
