“May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable…” It is a scripture I have commented on before. Those of you who particularly reverence the words of the Bible may wonder that I stopped and did not finish the verse. For you I will “…in thy sight oh God.” I could just as easily finish it …in my sight oh God.” For that is one of the hats I have worn too. I am the god of my world, its creator, and judge. And trust me I have at times been a very hard god, hard on others but especially hard on myself. But I have come to understand that the reason we are here is to learn the lessons of love and loving our self is the greatest lesson of all. For when we can love our self, loving God and our neighbor is easy. And till we truly can love our self we cannot begin to love others. Hey, if you disagree that’s okay too. I still love you.
