You Can Have It All – Yes, Yes !
Only a very young soul would say, “You can’t have it all.” And I know that we teachers are taught to say there are no stupid or silly statements or questions. But, indeed there are and some very silly and stupid answers as well. So let me say plainly that you can indeed have it all and that that is the reason you and I find ourselves in this time and space construct to begin with – to have and to experience it all.
I love the words of the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley especially the last two lines:
“I am the master of my fate:
The captain of my soul.”

I have heard it said that our higher power, our higher best self is so positive that it does not even entertain the possibility of the negative. A New Testament writer trying to express this thought wrote “All the promises of God are: “Yes, Yes.” Jesus taught his disciple to pray to the perfect or heavenly parent and to believe the answers would always be, “Yes, Yes.” When we say “can’t” our higher self hears “can.” When we say “No, no” our best self hears, “Yes, yes.”
Praying to our higher, best self may sound a bit self-serving: “My kingdom come, my will be done in earth as it is in the perfect dream come true (heaven.)”

“Mine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen”
As a safe guard against the ego, the evil, that false god that man created thinking that he/we had any real choice in being anyone other than who and whose we truly are, we were given this safe space to try out every scenario even if it takes millions of lifetimes to do so. We can indeed have and experience it all for I believe that we are individually and collectively “the God who is all in all” who has said from the beginning “All things are thine (mine) to enjoy.”
Ask whatsoever you will believing you shall receive.” And remember, the answer is always “Yes, Yes, thy (my) will be done.”
