Dear BB

Blog 3706 – 12.28.2025

Dear BB,

Yesterday, it was announced that the last of the three iconic double letter sexy ladies of my youth had passed. Brigitte Bardot the famous French Actress and Animal Rights activist has died at 91. Marilyn Monroe, MM, Linda Loveless, LL, and now Brigitte Bardot, BB, are now all gone. Each in their own way pushed the sexual boundaries with their titillating performances.

In 1965 actors Jimmy Stewart and a young Billy Mummy made a tribute movie honoring the vivacious French beauty, called Dear Brigitte. If you have not seen it, I encourage you to do so.

There was an expression often quoted in my youth regarding the certainty of somethings, where the speaker would say, “Millions of Frenchmen could not be wrong…” it must be hard for people like Dear BB who are so beautiful when they are young to watch their outward beauty fade over time. Most of us never have that problem to face. Brigitte Bardot retired from making movies in 1973.

Of her it must be said that, “A thing of beauty is a joy forever.” Thank you, Dear BB, for warming our hearts and stirring our passions.

Your friend, fellow traveler, and forever BB fan,

David James White
