I Think In Rhymes
From a young boy I taught myself to think in rhymes. I have committed to memory hundreds of songs that rhyme. Had I found a partner who thought in melodies, I could have perhaps been half of a great song writing duo. Though I took music class in primary school and college, like the guitar, it was something I always thought I might work on, yet never did. I am just not a numbers person. Words are my medium.
Numbers people are always trying to figure things out, to make things add up. Word people are always looking for the words to explain the situation, trying to make things rhyme. The dictionary defines rhyme as:

That is probably way more than you ever wanted to know about rhyme, me too. I am just concerned that it sounds right. I personally have never cared for what I considered the lazy rhymes of old English poets that used supposedly rhyming words that did not even sound close, like people would not notice their weak rhymes. They did and still do.
Some of my own rhymes that I am most pleased with I have kept over the years. Attached is one of my favorites:
