Name It, Frame It, and Claim It – P.S. I Love You

The post script to my Note from the Universe today says, “Things are always better than you think they will be, David, so think that.”

As lad I had quite a troubled transition to school life. First because the rule was that if your sixth birthday fell before January first you were allowed to start the first grade at five and secondly because kindergarten was not free like Public School and my parents could not afford for me to experience that half day mostly play transition I had a very hard time being away fro my Mama, the first great love of my life, for eight hours at a time, five days a week. It took me over six years to change my mind about school.

I was actually attending my fourth school and in Junior High before I began to adjusted to life away from Mama. By that time I turned thirteen and all those pretty thirteen year old girls made me begin to think that school was better than I thought.

My favorite song when I was thirteen was a Beatle song that played on the radio every morning before I walked to school. I think it was an early Note from the Universe to me – P.S. I Love You.

Your friend and fellow traveler,

David James White
