“Pie Isn’t Square, Pie Are Round”

I have always been a fan of pie, of the math term and formulas not so much, yet the delicious taste of pie can always make a bad day better and a good day pretty spectacular. I saw today’s picture at a country restaurant yesterday along Texas State Road 101, where my wife and I stopped for lunch.

Fats Domino may have found his thrill on Blueberry Hill, but even those not so lucky in love can still find a thrill with a slice of blueberry or their favorite pie. Do not underestimate the happiness that can be derived from the seeming little things in life.

Mary Poppins sang, “These are a few of my favorite things…” Money can’t buy happiness, yet it can buy many things that can make us happy. In my humble opinion pie is one of those, so while I am wishing you all the good things that life has to offer, I will also be wishing you pie.
