Oh, Pretty Woman
I turned fourteen in 1964 and that same year Roy Orbison co-wrote and recorded his second number one hit song, Oh Pretty Woman:

Per the clip regarding the song it was inspired by a casual quote from Roy’s wife, Claudette as she was leaving the studio to do a little shopping. Roy had asked if she needed any money for shopping.
Her reply started him and the co-writer of the song, Bill Dee’s, thinking about pretty women and in moments the iconic song was a reality.
It certainly captured the thoughts of many a man young and old, my almost fourteen year old self included. You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker and You’re Beautiful by James Blunt are too later hit songs with a similar theme.
As I close, I can hear the incomparable Tom Jones singing, “My, my, my Delilah!” echoing a sentiment strongman Samson, himself made weak by a pretty woman, must have also thought.
Your friend, fellow traveler, and life-long fan of pretty women,
David James White
