Guarding Your Personal Information
We are warned not to share too much personal information with strangers or newly friended individuals on Social Media as they may be seeking personal details to steal our identities for nefarious purposes like getting into our checking and savings accounts or compromising security on our credit cards, etc. After thirty-six hundred and thirteen blog I suppose there are few personal details that I have not shared more than once. I am a writer, and writers draw a lot of inspiration from our own personal life experiences. Good writers try to make those often mundane details sound entertaining, enlightening, and encouraging.
Writing is a personal thing. The first verse of the Phish song Waste comes to mind:

I invite you to Google the complete lyrics of the song and on my blog:
http://www.theencouragingword.co
today you will find the YouTube link to the song. These YouTube links do not always carry over when I paste my blogs on Facebook so I encourage anyone wishing to get to know me better or anyone interested in hearing many of the songs that I post to read my blogs on my Word Press account and to follow me there. Also many of the mistakes that I catch only after publishing I am able to correct there so there you can find the best of my writing.
Unlike Phish, I do want to be a writer with my thoughts out on the page and hope you are not just interested in me for some monetary gain that you might get or so that you can try to sell me something.
It is risky business, to be sure, putting one’s self out there. The really creative people have always done it not because they are especially brave or to get rich, but because they have a deep desire to share. Though that may seem a foolish Don Quijote type quest or a terrible waste of time, we creative folk believe it is not, but that any chance at true connection is always worth the risk.
Your friend and fellow traveler,
David James White
