Keep Each Other Warm
Some believe the illusion that this is a cold and uncaring world. Others believe another illusion and live in fear of an eternal burning hell. I believe that this world and the next is what we make it. That everything and everyone around is but a reflection of our own desires made manifest for us to behold. We are dream weavers, as it were, caught up in our own dream. To change the world we have only to change our minds.
Too simplistic you say, well perhaps, but not so far off, examine the facts. In my training as a quality professional I was taught that the way to get to the root cause of any problem is to ask “Why” four times. The surface answers seldom reveal the true cause, but only deals with some of the surface symptoms and fail to get to the root cause.
Why are we here? Biological we are here to procreate. Seeing that as our true reason for being misses the mark and has had men in particular thinking of women as merely brood-mares or as only mothers for centuries instead of as co-creators. Why are we co-creators? Because we were created in the likeness of the Great Creator. It is both Who and Whose we are. But, why are we here? Because we chose to be, to live out these adventures in time and space, to explore all the possible scenarios. Why are we here? To experience all there is, everything the heart and mind can imagine, that my friends and fellow travelers in time and space, is why we are here.
There is a very poetic line in the New Testament that comes to mind: “And it does not yet appear what will shall be, but we shall be like Him(Her)for we shall see Him(Her) as He(She.)
Why are we here? Why to reign, of course, as kings and queens of this world that we have created for ourselves. And if that at times seems cold it is our responsibility to keep each other warm.
