The Happy Couple
When today’s picture was taken, one day some years ago, Linda Lee and I were already a happy couple though not yet married. We had both already experienced more than our share of failed relationships, but were still hopeful that we had found one that would last, that would stand the test of time.
Have there been bumps in the road? Indeed, there have been, but then we both love a good road trip and our adventure in space and time has been all that much better shared. How many stops along the way we have yet to share is always a question, but one we have asked ourselves all along the way, hoping for one more day like the song of the same name.
It is a great joy finding someone to share this journey with and the time we share together, short or long, is precious. And whatever the numbers of days, “leaves me wishing still, for One More Day with you.”
