One For My Baby, And One More For The Road
A good death is the goal of many warrior-like cultures and many see these adventures in time and space as battles. I, however, choose to see them as adventures of our own design. Today’s title comes from one of my favorite Sinatra songs.
This year both my lovely and loving wife, Linda Lee, and I will mark three quarters of a century along the road on this particular adventure. When we first started dating we called each other Baby.
I intend, pray, believe that a good death is possible and so along with all of my intentions I make this one for myself and all people, especially my Baby.
“One for my baby and one more for the road” has a special meaning to me.
