Why I Write

Over ten years ago I began this daily blog with the goal of becoming a better writer. Practice makes perfect they say. Some even say that becoming expert in anything requires doing it ten thousand times. Well, after today I will be three thousand four hundred and eighty-three blogs on my way to being an expert blogger.

My three fold aim in each of my blogs or the Three E’s as I like to call them is to Entertain, to Enlighten, and to Encourage. I figure if I can accomplish even one of those in any given blog it has been worth my while and that of my readers.

And perhaps someday after enough practice I will be an expert enough writer to hit the mark on all three in every blog.
