Whatsoever My Hands Find To Do
Idle hands they say are the Devil’s workshop. The only Devil I know is a puny little false god named ego, but he/she would ever fill our mind with loud lying voices and keep our hands from reaching out to others or occupying themselves doing good work. It is unlimited what we can accomplish if we just keep our hands busy with whatsoever we find to do.
Today I am at Jay’s Hundred Acre Wood continuing to prepare the Camper Trailer site. In about a month I hope to have a twenty foot long pull behind RV Camper trailer parked here with power and water hook-ups. With a gas station with convenience store only one mile away and an emergency portable toilet we can make do without a sewer line or septic system for the time being.
Soon instead of day trips only from Houston to Bon Wier, about a two and a half hour drive, one way, we can stay over night, weekends or even longer and really enjoy the woods. My lovely and loving wife, Linda Lee, grew up on a sixty acre farm in South Carolina. Almost a third of the farm was wooded and Linda loved walking in the woods any chance she got.
I hope that Linda comes to love Jay’s Hundred Acre Wood as much as she did the woods on her daddy’s farm and as much as I already do. I feel at home here and hope to make it so someday and be able to take a leisurely walk in the woods every day. I am confident that my hands will find more than enough here to keep them busy.
